Patricia's Story
Life
My Pets
I have two cats, one named Kitty (not very orignal), the other is Bart (after simpson). Bart deserves his name, if he could talk I know he would always tell me he didn't do it!
My Kids
My daughter is living with a roommate, working two jobs and going to college. I don't know how she finds the time for all of that, but she's doing a great job.
My son is in 10th grade and is a good kid. When he acts like a teenager, I have to admit that I can't wait for him to be on his own. He is a good kid, but is quiet except for when he is on the phone with his girlfriend.
Whoa, I just checked my own profile, so three years or so later I think I'll update it.
My son joined the Marines in 2003, at this time he is stationed in Beaufort S. C.. He has been trained as a firefighter. After Brandon's graduation from the Marines, my daughter decided she was joining the Navy. After she graduated she was stationed aboard the George Washington, an aircraft carrier. She had a short tour of the middle east...Expand for more
lasting a couple of months. She is now in Norfolk Va, awaiting her school in Missippi.
My Job
I'm in management for a store in this area.
December 2004
I thought I would update my profile without changing the entire text.
Mostly the changes involve my children. My daughter is in the Navy following in her brother's lead of joining the Marines. It came as a surprise when they both joined, more so when Heather made the decsion. She has been assigned to the air craft carrier USS George Washington. She spent a very short time in the middle east, but is now in Norfolk Virginia. School will start for her in June 2005.
My son joined the Marines in Oct 2003. He has been trained as a fire fighter and is stationed in South Carolina.
Very proud of them both, but miss them greatly.
Update March 2010.
My daughter is no longer in the Navy, but living in Michigan with her husband. It was hard to think of myself as a mother-in-law.
My son is still in the Marines, but is stationed at this time in Bolivia.
