Patricia's Story
Life
My life has revolved around my family and my career. I have been a nurse for 29 yrs. My parents have passed away, and I have a very close relationship with my two sisters. My fondest memories are those of high school and nursing school. Such carefree fun, and friendships galore!
Workplace
I am currently working as a medical case manager for worker's compensation injuries. I worked in the Emergency room for 22 yrs, then as manager of a large outpatient clinic. It is nice now to finally have weekends and holidays free, and to throw away all of my white clothes!
Well, once again my life has changed a little. My two daughters are 2...Expand for more
0 and 23, and both very independent women of the Millenium! I am now working at St Francis Hospital in Evanston, back to my roots, where I was born. I work as clinical supervisor of the occupational Health Dept. It is very nice to be hanging around my old stomping grounds, but it is a long commute from the Beverly Area to Evanston every day! At least I get to Look at the most beautiful parts of our fair city every day!
Two years ago I underwent a gastric bypass, adn have consequently lost 180 lbs! I actually am thinner than I was in high school! And although I may look a little youinger, I still can feel every one of the last 53 yrs.
