Patricia's Story
I moved to Northern California in 1975. My first job on the west coast was working for American Red Cross Blood Services; I worked there for 25 years. I'm currently in my 10th year working for Stanford University as Director of Quality Assurance for the Medical School Blood Center. I am married and have one daughter who
recently turned 18. I am usually quite active and have tried many different sports; at the present time, I am on break from paddling outrigger canoes competitively (or not so ...Expand for more
competitively!) at the Senior Master level. I occasionally walk or run half marathons for charities, and I take classes in ballroom dance and curling. My daughter keeps me busy, too, attending a pre-college art program in San Francisco; so I am in "The City" most weekends, shopping and sightseeing! My husband loves playing Hawaiian music and my daughter dances hula. Right now I am planning for my daughter's high school graduation party. If you have any good party ideas, please pass them along!
