My Pets
Older son works at a Blues and BBQ joint while attending Perimeter College. Has long hair , makes movies and plays guitar.
Younger son is a soccer playing scholar who started UGA fall 08.
My Job
I taught for 31 years and took maturity leave. Taught from pre-k to college, helping to start Georgia's first Computer Magnet teaching a united nation of computer geeks and geekettes to use technology- computers, robotics, etc. I started in English but then trained as a gifted teacher who...Expand for more
taught all subjects. I became enamored of Logo (a Piagetian computer language where each student can build their own commands ), which I still teach gifted geeks on Saturday at Georgia State. Was Teacher of the Year 2000 for Clifton Computer Magnet.
Now I am writing and working on a history book and a website thestripproject dot com while I'm writing a couple of books...slowly. I'm wanting to hear from all my old friends and students and what they've been up to in living.
