Patrick's Story
During the years since high school my hobbies have been bicycling, flying, restoring antique aircraft, reading and computers. We left Wisconsin in 1989 for Chicago where I worked for Motorola as an automation engineer. My wife was transferred to Dallas TX in 1995 and then I went to work for Nokia as an automation engineer in their cell phone group.
In 2006 my wife was transferred to Montevideo, Uruguay where we live now. I am retired and my hobby is now designing and building recumbent bicycles. I will be riding in my fourth MS150 in May of 2008 in Dallas. We have several friends and one relative suffering with MS...Expand for more
so the annual ride is a fundraiser for Multiple Sclerosis. Our 6 person team raised over 16000 dollars last year. We were second top fundraiser per rider out of 60 teams and 2500 riders!
We have 3 great children and 3 wonderful grand children that we don¿t see nearly enough because of the distance. Our daughter Gina is a journalist and mom in Oshkosh WI. She also does very well selling items on EBay as a hobby. Our oldest son, Scott, is a biologist for the Smithsonian Research Institute in the Panama Canal Zone in Panama. Our youngest son, Aaron, is an online recruiter for the University of Phoenix in Chicago.
