Patrick's Story

Life Hi I went into the USMC after Oxon Hill HS, then came out and attended the U of MD where I worked briefly as a policeman. I joined the Charles County Sheriff's Police in 1974, and retired in 1999. The next day, I became the Chief of Police in Berwyn Heights, MD, in PG County near the U of MD, where I retired in August of 2010. I enjoyed...Expand for more
riding my Harley for many years, but recently gave it up for a bigger boat. I live in St Mary's county on the beautiful Wicomico River where I enjoy boating, fishing and crabbing, and playing golf. My wife, Vicki is a retired RN, and we travel several times a year to interesting places. At home we enjoy our 2 Yorkshire Terriers, and a cat.

A beautiful sunset.
The British tried to take our guns in 1776. It didn't work out well for them.
A recent book I discovered. On the cover, Lolita LeBron, and my dad. Should be an interesting read.
A beautiful ending of a nice warm day.

Today would have been my parents 71st wedding anniversary. They made it to number 70, but both passed this year. Happy Anniversary to them in Heaven.

And the sky signals, it's twilight time.
Dee by Gawd, Capt'n, that's a nice bushel o' arsters. Let the shucking begin!
A cold, breezy sunset.
Just read these three crime novels by David Swinson, a retired DC Police detective. A Detailed Man, The Second Girl, and Crime Song. Available on Amazon, they are page turners. I turned off the TV, and read them for hours.
Scored a bushel of bait, let the crabbing season begin!
Just finished the Frank McCourt trilogy: Angela's Ashes, Tis, and Teacher Man. The Pulitzer prize winner of an impovershed Irish childhood, his coming of age in America, and the best autobiography of a public school teacher
