Patrick's Story

Life Born in Baltimore, Maryland Oct 21, 1942 to Patrick and Elizabeth O'Brien. My older sister's name was Elizabeth Francis. She was nine years old when I was born. We lived at 1427 Covington St. I attended P.S. #84, Thomas Johnson Elementary School from 1948 thru 1954. I went to P.S. #72 for 7th grade and transferred to P.S. #70 Southern High School in 1955. Following graduation in 1960, I attended Towson State Teachers' College for a year and a half. I joined the Navy Feb 5, 1962. I married Diana Matesic on Mar. 1, 1963. arated in 1983 and were officially divorced in 1986. I retired from the Navy in 1989 as a Master Chief Petty Officer. I settled in Pensacola, FL. I went back to college and earned my bachelor's degree in education in 1992. On Christmas day, 1994, I married Elizabeth Ann Leudenburg. (Libby). We moved to Cantonment, FL in 1996. Libby's mom and dad have lived with us the past 2 years due to failing health. I teach school at the Montessori School of Pensacola, a private institution. I've been there for 6 years. I teach a combined class made up of 1st thru 3rd graders. In my spare time, I like to play golf and fish.
