Patrick's Story
Life
After graduating CCHS, I went to ACC for a year and then on to CU. Graduated and moved to Seattle to work at a hospital. I married my wife Amy there in 1985. It was about this time that I joined the Navy. I entered OCS and pilot training in Feb 88. I learned to fly the P-3 Orion subhunter in Jacksonville, Fla. I deployed to Sicily, Bermuda and Iceland, seeing lots of Soviet subs and other cool stuff. We moved to Pax River, Maryland where I worked in a test and development squadron. While in Maryland, my daughter Kelly was born and I was selected to a small part of the Navy that runs reserve sqaudrons. r In Charge of Patrol Squadron 94 in New Orleans. I served in that capacity until July 2004 and served as the the Executive Officer of the Navy Operational Support Center in New Orleans until January 2007. Glad to be out of NOLA! The best news is that I returned to Denver in February 07 to be the Commanding Officer of the Navy Operational Support Center Denver at Buckley AFB. Ifinally retired from the Navy in 2008 and am now the Executive Director of Colorado Employer SUpport of the Guard and Reserve. Amy completed her Masters Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2006 Our daughter Kelly gets smarter, bigger and more beautiful every day. She will graduate from CCHS in 2010.
