Patrick's Story
Life
The photo is of my wife, Michele (Fairmont West 1971 and BS Education Major Wright State Univ. 1975); my daughter, Catherine (Beavercreek High 2000 and BS Education Wright State Univ. 2005); my nephew Eric who is a snior at Wright State as a Marketing/Finance Major. We are with a 71 year old guide in Bastogne, Belgium in front of a German Panther tank. This past summer we visited Bastogne and Normandy, France where my father fought with the 506th PIR 101st Airborne in 1944.
My wife's French mother and grandmother were part of the French Resistance during the war and we visited her grandfather's grave at Soupir, FR. He died defending France in 1939.
We had a lovely visit with Michele's family in Nanacy which is in the eastern part of Fr in Lorraine (near the German border). We also visited Paris Fr, Luxumbourg, Strassborg Fr and both Geneva and Zurich Switzerland.
We are retired and live in Centerville. We actively support those in pursuit if higher education having set up or assisted setting up Endowments restricted to "scholarships" at both Wright State University and Central State University. For the past several years we have given free room and board at our home for college students (other than family). We currently are hosting our nephew and another yourng lady who is also a senior at WSU.

he U. of Cincinnati for two and a half years until we had to part in order to keep from killing each other! I see Charlie every so often. Michele and I lived in Beavercreek for 28 years and in our neighborhood of approximately 100 homes, there were at least a dozen Belmont grads! Down the street from me was Gary Boone. Two streets over lived Tom Baker (my wife tutored his child briefly), Kathy Kraus, Tony Patrick and others. Beavercreek was sort of "Belmont East."
My wife and I are traveling more now that I've retired from ING as a Registered Principal and Vice President of Pension Operations and Individual Investments. We bought a 29' trailer two summers ago and went to Yellowstone for a month with our two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels ("Spencer" is a Blenheim and "Bentley" is a tricolor- "Our Boyz"). We also spend time in Tennesee which is God's country at our summer home on Lake Norris.
Denny Jacobs is living in the Hartford, CT area and visits us about once a year. We also see Ron McClellan frequently who lives near our place in TN. He recently retired as the elected Sheriff of Campbell County, TN.
Michele and I are golfing regularly and are closing in on scoring "100" without too many "do-overs."
