After leaving CHS I wasn't quite ready for college so I decided to blow off going to school first quarter which irritated my mother. She explained it this way; you either go to college or move out of my house, it's your choice. Living at home wasn't bad since it was rent free and included groceries, heat/air and cable TV; what more could you want? It wasn't long before realizing that all my friends were off having a great time at various Universities around the country that I finally enrolled into Sinclair. Since I was paying my own way through school I attended Sinclair 2 out of 3 quarters for a couple of years before transferring to Ohio State during the fall of 88. I spent 4 years at OSU pursing various degrees until I settled on Communication and finished up during the spring of 92. During my years at OSU I joined the Delta Chi Fraternity and enjoyed making new friends, attending numerous parties and loving football Saturdays. After graduation I moved back home while spending time finding my first job. I spent a couple years back in Centerville before moving out to the University of Oklahoma in 94 where I followed my fiancé at the time.
