Life
I Married Sue Averette class of 72 in 72 had 3 children 2 boys & 1 girl. We have 4 grandchildren 2 boys & 2 girls. I was an electrican from graduation till 84. In 84 I bought Ike Smith Electric & still own it.We now live in Denham Springs. I was a member of Central Vol. Fire Dept.where I served as a captain, Asst. Chief and Board Chairman for 12 years. I was an EMT,and worked part time for Baton Rouge Ambulance service. I was an instructor at the Red Cross and seved as a Disaster Action Team Captain.I was a scout master in the Boy Scouts of America,and am still a post leade...Expand for more
r.I was given the district award of merit from the BSA. I am currently a Lt. Colonal, the State Legislative Liaison Officer and the former Emergency Services Officer for the state of La. for the Civil Air Patrol. I have been the Commander, Dep. Commander for cadets and the Finance officer for the Capitol City Composite Squadron. I formally serve on the board of directors for CAPAW. I am the former president & member of the Business Network of BR and I served on the Board of Directors for the BBB of Baton Rouge. I am also a member of the District 5 Vol. Fire Dept. in Livingston.
