Patrick's Story
I've been successfully married;twice in fact! [just joking]. I am the single ,full time parent of a wonderful Daughter who will be a senior next year. She does very well academically and wants to do pre-law when she graduates;not to mention she is a pretty good song writer and teaches and plays acoustic guitar and mandolin.Guess all that folkie stuff she grew up hearing must of rubbed off.
Her older sister,my step daughter is a mechanical engineer and we are still close.She called me the other night to give that joyous/dreaded news,Yah you guessed it ,I'm gonna be a grandpa !!!!!
I'm really happy for her and her husband .They are in a good place in their lives.
most of this time I have on earth is consumed by the same thing yours is.that damn job. mine...Expand for more
is as a superintendent for a mechanical contracting company.It's a real love hate thing.I'm a fool for the technical and the complexity.Right now one of my projects is the 501 building .It's the data center for EVERYTHING for our wounderfull state.SOO if I f---k up,please don't be upset if your check is late if you are a state employee,or the lottery is down or if you can't get a birth certificate,or your tax return is a little late! [just joking ]
One of my hobbies that got way out of hand is my vineyard. produced some fairly nice white wines.working on reds,but still a few years out.I also love fishing and camping when I can sneek it in. Also like gardening and nature. Applied with the natural resource district recently put my 15 acres into wildlife habitat.
