Patrick's Story
The biggest reason I am writing this is because it has been almost 30 years and I cannot remember crap! I would appreciate anyone who wants to tell me about anything (good or bad) about my former life. I mean I do remember bits and pieces, but I'd appreciate any kind of fill in.
Also, without being morbid about it, there are two people in my graduating class (lived on my street) that died - Karl Stone and Geralyn Gasser. And know of two others that died - Patricia Kowalski and Cynthia Czebatul. For some reason, I'd just like the people they grew up with to know. Drama teacher Stan Zogas and Principal Schook both died in the last year or two as well.
So about me, I live, I kid you not, a mile from my boyhood home, just north of 15 Mile Road on the east side off Garfield in Concorde Green subdivision. I tell people they used to be the fancy houses when I was growing up. I remember riding...Expand for more
my bike there and being amazed the then new cement curbs were a low slope as opposed to where I lived. I have 4 kids ages 9 to 14 and so I am now winding up at the high school and junior high quite often. Looked at the class photo last night. We all looked so young.
So I'm a bald guy now and like the Zeppelin?? song, the lines on my face are getting clearer (except my near vision is starting to go). But all in all life if good.
I floundered around after High School for a while. I became a Paramedic, then went into the army in 1986. I spent some time in Germany. Came back to Michigan and graduated from Oakland University. I went to law school and graduated in 1994. I've been doing personal injury law since then, maybe you've seen my ads on TV? Just kidding. As much as it's looked down upon, I think helping injured people is important. Which reminds me, time to get back to work.
