Patsy's Story
Life
I married right out of high school and have 3 daughters Jodi, Kathy and Julie from the marriage,we divorced in 1967. I met my husband Richard in 1968 but refused to marry him until 1971 as he had never been married and I was giving him a ready made family. Our daughter Krissy was born in 1973. Richard & I will celebrate our 31st anniversary in June.
I am an asst. manager for the Marine Claims Division of a Japanese insurance company in Pasadena & will celebrate my 20th anniverary in July. Richard is in the Calif. Air National Guard at Port Hueneme. In March he was activited for the second time since 911, this time for at least 1 year. We are luckier than most as he should remain state side which is fine with me since he served in Vietnam and Desert Storm.

granddaughter Lena(13) live in Newhall. Our third daughter Julie & husband Rob will be married 11 years in October and live in Sylmar with our grandsons Niko(10)Collin(7) & Clayton(5). Our youngest daughter Krissy is an RN working at Cedars-Sini hospital and will be getting married in June and will have a step-daughter Britnee(12). Krissy and husband-to-be Tom will live in Canyon Country. All of our girls and their families are within a half hour drive of us, we feel lucky to be able to see them as often as we want. Being parents was great, but being grandparents is the ultimate.
Each year our entire family and many friends take 10 days and go camping and waterskiing at Lake San Antonio near Paso Robles, Ca. The largest group ever was 55 adults and children. We look like a small town with tents, RV's, boats and PWC's up and down the shore. It's great fun and for 10 days the hardest thing you have to do is get out of bed and decide if you should eat or go play in the water.
