Patsy's Story
After Byng and VCC I spent a few years working at various jobs and doing a bit of travelling, meeting old and new friends along the way. Having always had the wanderlust I set off with a girlfriend for 2 years of hitching and working in Europe. As the north became cold we headed to Greece for almost a year of working, hitching back toward London to work for our airfare home.

I met my husband Gary at work, took up sailing and together we built a 45 foot wooden sailboat. Later, we enjoyed our Motorhome and travelled many miles through N. America before moving to Costa Rica and commuting to Vancouver for work.
We retired in 2002, sold all the "toys" and continued living abroad until finally returning to the Pacific Northwest. We've settled on the lovely Sunshine Coast which is as far from or close to the city as needed. Retirement suits us well and we're now into the cruising life.
