Patti's Story
Hi everyone. I am looking forward to attending my first (my 50th) class reunion in Sep. 2020 at the Mission Inn. Like most folks, I've led a full, diverse, life, filled with a dedicated career, travel, and loved ones here, come and gone. I am now enjoying being fully in the present, volunteering, consulting, playing bocce tournaments, discovering and learning everyday. I love outdoor activities and actually have lived off grid for several years, 6 of them alone! It was a wonderful counterpoint to being a State Social Worker, Consulting Behaviorialist, and allowed me to continue working with wildlife and forestry services as an avocation. Yes, I'm an animal lover and proponent. I am looking forward to sharing my stories with all of yours, HAVING FUN, enjoying can do attitudes, better health, and positive new experiences. I love road trips, travel, hiking, fishing, exploring, ...Expand for more
music., gardening, have led forestry tours to I.D. edible plants and mushrooms, and lived in the forest 4 miles from my nearest neighbor, by a lake on a mountain in the Cascades. Now I live on 5 little acres in Washington state. At the moment, volunteer leading activities at a memory care center where my friend resides... Let's open homes for Boomers that play OUR music! We are, after all, smart enough to prepare for our old age....our way! I love a Porter, Stout or Brown Ale from a local micro brewer, avoid most wine, dont smoke cigarettes, have lived on and love the San Juan Islands, and am totally a Pacific Northwest girl. My favorite town is Bellingham, where I enjoy a college town intellectual atmosphere, great sense of community, and an attitude of celebrating differences. Good bocce is played there! I remember darned few of you, and can't wait to have my memories tweaked!
