Patti's Story
After Tripoli we went to Jakarta. Dad 'retired' and we moved to Canada. Tough culture shock...people spoke English. Graduated from high school, college, and worked in the mental health field with sexually abused kids and their families. Realized that I was still a desert junkie and moved to California. Stayed in the mental health field for another 6 years and decided I really just want to arrest the sex offenders so became a cop. Have been one ever since and love it. Look out sex offenders!

he laws in California finally have made the right decision and am married to my life partner of 19 years.
We are active and engage in silly things like adventure racing, rock climbing, and endurance cycling. Our last event was 18 days rafting the Grand Canyon. Next is backpacking from Geneva to the Med....love the beach.
note - I have a bit of a memory issue as a result of a climbing accident in 2003. My family has been helpful in the Tripoli history...dang we had fun didn't we!
