Patti's Story
I married Tim Howard during our senior year. We have three wonderful kids (they are to me anyway). Brandi (29) lives in Plant City and has one child, Jayden, six months old; Katie (25) lives in Dowling Park and has two children, Wyatt and Emily; and Scott (20) lives in Pennsylvania. Tim died in a vehicle accident when Scott was a baby. In 1998 we moved to Live Oak.
I remarried in 2000 to Lew Denny but he died of pancreatic cancer in 2004.
I'm remarried one more time, retired from the State, and am attending college to fulfill a dream of teaching. I've been accepted to St. Leo University, yeah for me!!

d farm - in Live Oak, we raise long horn cattle but we also have four horses, one donkey, three dogs and two cats.
Life has been a wonderful journey. There have been lots of mountains to conquer but the view at the top was and is breathtaking.
I haven't changed much except that my hair is gray and I've become very independent. I still laugh at inappropriate times and I'm still loud. I've learned that people need to accept me for who I am not for what they want me to be and it has taken a lifetime to feel this way. I don't regret anything about my life because I feel that if I've learned something from it, then it wasn't such a bad trip afterall.
