eart. I'd love to connect with them any friend from RHHS. In 11th grade Mr. Maeder, U.S. History, made Ellen DeLorenzo & me add Linda Satchwell to our research project group. We were really mad! We hardly knew her! When Satch didn't show up for any of the work, we complained. He wouldn't listen. "You girls will have to work it out!", he said. Turns out he was seeing Satch while married to another woman. He later married Satch, divorced, and I heard he married another student after that. "Hey Maeder, are you still seducing high school girls? There's a word for teachers like you: MOLESTER! Shame on you!" (Apologies to Linda. He's responsible. You were just a kid). College I graduated a semester early from RHHS and attended UC Santa Barbara mostly because I was talked into it by Leslie Brown, who had graduated from RHHS a yr. early & already at UCSB. I was a scared high school senior thrown in with 3rd qtr college freshman up to seniors. After that I lived in the San Rafael dorm/foreign student hall. It was the best! I would love to find my friends Irwan Rusli from Indonesia, Massoud from Iran & Ken Matsuura from Torrance, CA. In Isla Vista I roomed w/Kathy (Lahr) Petersen, Cyndi Hallgren & Helen Seto; hung out with Michele (DePrez) Steele & dated Donald Kochi. Tony Shih was my favorite Soc TA. I left UCSB in 1976 for Humboldt State due to a bad relationship. I lived with my homegirls Sara Daughterty and Melinda Johnson. My favorite Soc profs were Ken Halgren, Sara Turner & John Gai. I loved my internships working at YES(Youth Educational Services) and RSVP (Retired Senior Volunteer Program). Intermural sports, camping, concerts, hiking in Redwoood Park, disco parties,clubbing in Eureka & innertubing down the river were awesome! I'd love to hear from my old friends from UCSB & Humboldt State!
