Patty's Story

Hi, Let's see. I have lived in Virginia City Nevada for 26 years and we are planning on moving to Carson City by February 1st 2010. I am married to Rick and have 3 kids by my first marriage to Grant Jacobson. Rick has a daughter----so 4 kids, 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Rick and I enjoy camping in our 26 ft travel trailer, fishing, crabbing and clamming. We spend a month every year on the Oregon coast. This is an up...Expand for more
date written May 31 2011. We did move to Carson City In January 2010, quite a change from Virginia City, but I like it. My husband passed away in August, 2010 and it has been so hard being without him. I miss him very much. It seems the things you once did together come to a screeching halt when one of you has gone. Luckily two of my kids live here in Carson and try and keep me busy and we enjoy each others company, so that helps.
