Patty's Story
After graduation I moved to Portland, Oregon and attended college . Met my wonderful husband and have been married for 47 years. After Carl graduated from college we moved to Columbus , Georgia.in order for Carl to
be in OfficerÃÂs Candidate .School and Jump School.in the Army. We were then sent to Ft. Lewis, WA. for 6 months and then he was deployed to Viet Nam for a year. Thank goodness he came back safe and sound.
While he was in Viet Nam, I moved back to Portland, finished college and went to work for Merrill Lynch as a financial advisor. When he returned, Carl went to work for Arthur Anderson, CPA firm and he became a partner.
We have a lovely daughter Sarah.. She graduated from WSU and went on to become an anchor for ABC news in Medford, Oregon; Tri Cities , WA, Spokane, WA and Portland, Oregon.
She is now married to our sweet son in law, Kevin and they have a daughter, Sophia...Expand for more

We moved to Lake Las Vegas, Nevada about 12 years ago. My husband is a an avid golfer so we moved to a home on the lake as well as golf course. We kept our vacation home in Sunriver, Oregon, so we could came back often to hook up with friends and family. As much as we loved where we lived, we missed being close to our family, especially our daughter and granddaughter. It was also time for both of us to retire. Carl semi- retired before our move to Lake Las Vegas, but I continued at Merrill Lynch in Las Vegas.. I retired last year. We moved back recently to Vancouver, WA and bought a condo on the Columbia river in Vancouver.
We now go back and forth between Sunriver and Vancouver. It is great to be back in the Northwest and close to our family..
