Patty's Story
Well it's another few years passed and after 22 years of working for the state I officially retired on June 30th of this year. And while I may not have much I have my sanity back and health is getting better and better every day. Still living single, my daughter and I are closer than ever and my grandson Brandon is now 19 going on 30. lol.
Life doesn't always turn out the way we expect it too.
In high school I figured I would be married for ever and have 5 or 6 kids.. ( yes me lol). Instead I was married 10 yrs and have one truly wonderful daughter. Go figure!!
I am still as sassy as ever !!!!!
One do over huh.. w...Expand for more
ell if I had one do over I think it would of been to stay in the military and retired there. But then if I had I wouldn't of had my beautiful daughter Tonya. So I can't complain, but the mind sometimes wonders what if......
The current picture is from my mid 50's.
The picture that was posted was taken in my mid 40's. Daughter had sent me in for a makeover, guess she didn't like the way her tomboyish mom was, so she set me up for the glam shots and make over. It took me days to get all that makeup off my face. Ugh..
But alas you can't take the boy out of tomboy and expect it to like it.
I am what I am .. toot toot! ;)
