Patty's Story
Life
Class of '70, I am still smiling and positive, supportive and loyal. Mike & I are now married 30 years raising our teenager Andy who's 18 and graduating from Lodi High. He will be attending University of the Pacific and playing Div. I waterpolo for the Tigers. Naturally we'll still be spending a lot of time on the pool decks of California. Mike has retired from 29 years in law enforcement and currently working part time. I'm still teaching the 4th grade at Mokelumne River School. Will I ever get promoted? My life long ambition is to be a cartoon . I have always wanted to to do commercial voice work but there's not a lot of opportunities in Lodi. I practice my craft in the classroom and in the meantime I still love and wildly support the S.F. Giants, the 49ers and of course local sports. ld down the fort and make sure the Steward family runs like clock work. Our oldest son is making a splash in online media advertising in the Dallas/Ft.Worth, Texas area. As a hobby and serious committment, Mike & I are high school youth sponsors at our church. It keeps us young and tuned in to the music, their ideas, their new views, and hopefully their futures. I have taken a turn at local politics and spent 4 years on the Park & Rec Commission. I even ran into Jerry Fox at a Park & Rec convention. My church has given Mike & I the opportunity and privilege of serving in short term missions. Mike has been to Nicaraugua, and Mexico. I have traveled with our youth group to Mexico which gives me the opportunity to practice me Senor Barton Spanish. I hope to go to Africa next summer and of course Mexico to serve at the deaf school. Yes, I'm pretty boring and totally mundane, but I really am blessed with my life. I hope the best for all of you!
