Patty Pittser-Nickolaus:  

Life Moved from Idaho Falls, Idaho back to home town Montrose, Colorado in 1976. Graduated in "78" from Montrose High. Moved to Port Hueneme, CA and married a Navy man, Chris. We have 2 sons, Adam and Kenny. I got into the drug/drinking scene with my husband and out of it when our first son was conceived. Became a born-again Christian in January of 1983. We have lived most of the last 20 years in Delta County Colorado. I homeschooled both boys throughout school. We have 3 grandsons, Gaven (12), Exavier (4), and Doryus (almost 3.) I work 2 days a week as a church secretary. Chris works loading coal trains from the Bowie Mine. We are both feeling our age in recent years, but enjoy life and our family. I am still very socially active and would love to hear from some old friends that I've lost touch with over the years! School As anyone who knew me knows, I have always been very people oriented. My favorite things about my high school years are the friends I made and the "extra-curricular" activities we were always doing. I got decent grades without trying, so I'm sure if I would have applied myself to studies, I would have been a top student. But... I was not interested in further formal education and my lifelong aspiration was to be a wife and mother. So that's what I did. I know most don't consider that to be "continuing education", but trust me(as I'm sure most of us have found out), it is! And what an education it can be! I have considered going to the Southwest School of Botanical Medicine since my children have grown and left home, but my health is not cooperating. Maybe life is all the education I need. Workplace I have worked at lots of different kinds of jobs over the last 30 years (oh that makes me feel old). By far the most rewarding has been as a homeschooling mom for 13 years....Expand for more
