After marrying, having a son then a daughter, their father and I divorced. I worked in so many various fields: selling newspaper classified ads, as a receptionist, cocktails, bartending and serving food at the Tam O'Shanter restaurant. In the corporate world I worked as an executive secretary at Yellow Book USA in King of Prussia, PA. I have sold water/coffee services, cell phones and retail sales in a department store. After working in retail I believe EVERYONE should have to work at least 1 complete holiday season to gain a more compassionate attitude toward sales clerks. I moved to Costa Mesa in 1978 and worked at the Disneyland Hotel for 10 years in one of the restaurants. During that time I married again and later we transferred first to southern New Jersey in 1990, then on to Birmingham, AL in 1996, next stop Orlando, FL for 2½ years (sure hated the weather as it was so hot and humid for way too many months of the year), and then back north to the Philadelphia area which has been my favorite geographical area to reside. I found that I am a true winter person; love the cold, and the snowy winter scenes. My husband and I parted ways after 20 years and I moved first to Baja, CA for a short while, then back to Birmingham to be close to where my daughter resides. I rented a house deep in the woods of Jemison, Alabama with travel time of 2 minutes and now have my own home in Calera, AL.
