Life
Miles away from Groves - working for the US Agency for International Development in Kosovo (an area in the former Yugoslavia about the size of Connecticut, administered by the UN since the conflict ended in 1999, since 2003). Will be here until Nov. 2007. Plan on continuing to work in development in the future in another challenging location. Was in Moldova (I'm good at working...Expand for more
in lots of "former" something places - Moldova is a small former Soviet republic sandwiched ) 1997-2003, privatizing the collective farms. My father still lives in Beverly Hills, and my sister and brother-in-law work at the Detroit Free Press, so I keep up on area news. Kosovo doesn't make it into the news too often, unless violence breaks out, so I hope you don't read much about us.
