Paul's Story

Paul (Adamy) Karrer Living in Monterey Californee. Graduated from ECSC 1977, joined Peace Corps in 78-80 and went to Samoa. Taught science and visited New Zealand as much as I could. Taught in Poquonock Elem school 1981-1982. Taught English in college in Korea 1982-1984. Met my wife there, she's a teacher too. Moved to American Samoa 1985-1987 and taught English. My wife Mi-ra taught Home Economics. We moved to Monterey, California in 1988 and have been here ever since. Mi-Ra teaches Korean to soldiers and spies at The Defense Language Institute. eeb and a nerd (so far) and that is good. May the gods help all parents. I write quite a bit. Pretty busy, I teach 5th and 6th grade. My current writing project is about a former favorite fifth-grade latino student of mine who went to prison at age 13. He spent 11 years in prison and just got out in October. We wrote and played chess for 9 years via mail. I visited him in prison mucho, pretty intense. What else? Still love motorcycles, have a 1987 Honda Hurricane (600cc) I get it up to 115mph on the coast to Big Sur. Glad to hear from one and all...Hi Bolton... Hi Glastonbury...
