We have not lived in Denver for over 20 years now. I really miss Colorado; the mountains, cool dry air, my family. The Blount family is really spread out accross the U. S.. Our daughter, Lisa, is at Vanderbilt University in Nashville working toward her MSN with a specialty in Midwifery. Laura, our youngest, is a Senior at Harding Univers...Expand for more
ity in Searcy, AR. She will complete her degree in Mid-Level Education in Dec of this year (2008). My mom and dad were divorced in 1978. My dad still lives in Denver and my mother lives in Albuquerque, NM. My oldest brother, Doug, lives north of Denver in Lafayette (Firestone/Fredrick). my other brother, Kerry, lives in Maryland and works at the Pentagon on policy issues for Homeland Security. My sister, Christina, has lived in Portland, OR for about 20 years.
I'm writing this update on Feb 12th, 2009. My dad, Bill Blount, passed away in November, 2008. We all were in Colorado for the Memorial Service. It was very special. Carolyn and I just got back from the NRB Convention (National Religious Braodcasters) in Nashville at the Gaylord (Opryland) Hotel. What a place and what a great time we had. Our Radio network had a booth and we interviewed so many well-known folks form Christian broadcasting. Charles Stanley, Kay Arthur, Joni Erickson Tada and many more. It was neat to meet all those folks. In April, Faith Radio is 25 years old and we're having a 25th Anniversary Benefit Dinner wqith Mike Huckabee as the featured speaker. Should be a big night. Steve Baum, Thanks for the birthday wishes and we're praying for you. Robyn, thanks for the note, too. Let me know what's happening. Love, Paul
