Paul's Story
Life
I'm currently a rural letter carrier at Harrisonville,MO while also farming and running a berry farm. I love snow skiing, playing roller hockey ( I'm goalie), and kids ( they are so fun to play with because of their creativity and imagination!). In high school I was well versed in german, but I now wish I would've studied spanish a little more...I have learned spanish and portuguese since then for travels in South America. Having an adventuresome pioneer spirit, a group of us gringo farmers have been exploring the new frontiers in Brazil and Bolivia and have decided to set up shop in the prairies of eastern Bolivia. The variety of crops grown there are unbelievable, the people wonderfully friendly, and overhead very cheap. My long-term goals are to live there half the year, and run my berry farm...Expand for more
here for the other half of the year. I currently raise blueberries, thornless blackberries, and raspberries south of KC. I was always so uptight and serious in highschool...although I'm still pretty straight-laced, I wish I would've taken the time to know several of you better. Girls always tied my tongue in knots back then, and although there were several nice gals I would've liked to meet, I was either too busy working or too bashful to do anything about it. I probably didn't bloom until around 23-25 and got married at 32.Probably the dumbest advice I was given was, "Well, treat them (girls) like you would any of the guys because they're just people too!"...TWICE I tried it with disasterous results (yeah, yeah, I SHOULDA figured that out the FIRST time, but I'm rather dense).God bless to y'all, Bye
