Life After High School I went to Europe for 2 months touring England, Germany, Vienna, Italy, France and Hungary where I stayed in the birthplace of my Father, Budapest. There my Great-Grandfather was the President of the Hungarian National Bank, imagine having your name on the front of another nation currency. I lived for 2 weeks on an Almond farm, that had no electricity, in the small town of Montelimar in the south of France. Thats when I found out that the simple things in life really do matter. When I returned it was on CCC to become an Honor Graduate (no, really an Honor Graduate) and move over to Hayward State to continue my studies towards my Bachelors degree. Then I met the future Mrs. Elischer through an old freind form El Cerrito (Sandee Dennis) and was married on June 23, 1985. Some of you might have been there, we had over 400 people in attendance for the celebration. As I did nothing notable academically during my tenure at Kennedy High School at least I could be remembered for organizing improptu gatherings with people from all the different Kennedy Malls in attendance.
