Workplace
Heavy manual labor seems to have outlined my work history in the past 10 years, and it's done a lot more good than harm! Having worked at C & S developed my ability to work in a fast-paced (sometimes crazy) work environment. If the company wasn't so honed-in on trying so hard to pay its employees as little as possible, I would have stayed longer than almost 4 years.... I am now at SYSCO, where I have been employed for 5 years, doing the same kind of work. At some point, I will be too...Expand for more
old to do this kind of work, so I am pursing hobbies and other interests in a more intellectually stimulating, low-key environment.
Military
Glad I'm done with the Air National Guard in Westfield. They did nothing for me to aid in my desires to pursue broadcast meteorology. Did my 6 years from '91 to '97. Wouldn't say I would have done it in the first place if I knew I'd end up choosing not to re-enlist; however, I can't say the experience was as negative for me as my high school years were!
