After graduating high school, I escaped to the Pacific Northwest to attend the University of Washington at Seattle for my BS in Industrial Engineering. I loved Seattle, but not the rain. Happily, job opportunities brought me to sunny California, where I later attended the University of California at Berkeley for my MBA.
Over the years I've worked for IBM, Westinghouse, Hewlett-Packard, and Tektronix. Today I'm Product Line Manager for Panasonic Avionics in Lake Forest, California, developing In-flight Systems for airlines worldwide. In my private life I'm the Director of Marketing for Men Alive - The Orange County Gay Men's Chorus, and I also sing Bass in the Chorus.
After five years together, I finally convinced my husband Doug to marry me. And so on a sunny Saturday afternoon in August 2005 in an outdoor ceremony in Dana Point (just south of Laguna Beach), we married. My stepfather, a minister, presided over the ceremony, and both Doug's & my families were in attendance, along with 75 of our dearest friends.
