Paul Solomon:  

I began teaching accounting at a college level in 1971 while working on my MBA at DePaul University in Chicago. I lived in the Minneapolis area from 1973 to early 1979. in 1981, I received my PhD from the University of Minnesota. After living in northern California (San Jose area) for almost 20 years, my wife and I moved to Sedona, Arizona in December of 1996. During the period 1997 to 2003, I wrote two texts, one as the sole author of a financial accounting textbook for McGraw-Hill. Eventually, I missed full-time college teaching and moved to western Massachusetts in July of 2006. We now live in Bloomfield, Connecticut and I am an Associate Professor of Accounting at Central Connecticut State UniversityPath College, in New Britain, CT. Since 1971, I have taught in every year but four (1997 - 2000). Assuming good health, I expect to continue teaching for at least five more years.
