Life In the fifty yearas since high school, life has provided me with my share of adventures. After high school graduation I attempted college. I was not yet ready for the discipline and commitment that college demanded and dropped out. I was drafted into the Army in December, 1966. Through incredible luck, and my mother's prayers, I was stationed in Germany instead of Vietnam. Following my two years on active duty I returned to Orange County and resumed taking college classes at Fullerton JC. It was there, that I met my first wife. We were vpmarried in 1970 and moved to Sacramento in 1973. I completed my BA degree in 1974 at Sacramento State University. Upon graduation I immediately went to work for the California Department of Corrections, Parole and Community Service Division as an Adult Parole Agent. I supervised men and women released from prison. I worked in San Francisco, Oakland, Sacramento, and Auburn where I supervised parolees in the Sierra from Lake Tahoe north to Lake Almanor.
