Paul's Story
I married Teresa Disney, EHS class of 78. We have two daughters. Kimberly is 24, Alison is 22.
We live in Valencia, California. Teresa is an active volunteer and was a full-time mom while the girls were growing up. She is now getting used to having both kids in college. We love to travel. France is our favorite destination and we plan to someday own a second home in Paris. My hobbies include playing and composing music for the piano and I have been an weekend artist for many years, painting with oil and watercolor.
I have been lucky enough to see my career in motion pictures take me from running the projectors at the 50-S Drive-In to my current job as Vice President, Strategic Planning for Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. I have had an office on the lot at the Walt Disney Studio...Expand for more
s in Burbank, California for more than a decade, and it is an wonderful place to work. Interestingly enough I am still dealing with movie projectors, but these days I travel around the world, and I am responsible for the smooth worldwide transition from motion picture film to digital cinema for our Studio. I am actively involved in distribution, post production and delivery technology, and I played a key role in starting the current 3D movie renaissance. It seems like it is a long way from the old drive-in theatre days, but it was a great foundation for someone who loves movies.
Teresa and I get back to Emporia occasionally. We love to spend time near the ocean in Santa Barbara, our favorite California town, and we frequently travel with our daughters to various destinations in Europe.
