Paul's Story
Following Graduation, I attended NCSU, starting in architecture, and finishing in History & Politcal Science.
Following gradution and a three year return to Port Jefferson, I relocated to North Carolina, eventually ending up in the Atlanta suburbs. I have over the years worked as a dishwasher, ER orderly, Police Officer. first mate/teaching assistant/surrogate captain on a research trawler, and EMT. I am currently working as a casualty claims/litigation consultant for and insurance company. I married approximately thirty years ago, inherited a son, became the proud...Expand for more
grandfather of his son and daughter.
Currently semi-retired, my better half and I divide our time between our residence in the Atlanta metropolitan area and Tybee Island...much like Venice, California without the angst.
Through it all, we-the wife and I- maintain our sense(s) of humor...God bless you, William Saroyan, wherever you are.
As a post script, why am I busier now, three years into retirement, than I was prior to said retirement?
The house on Tybee island remains a great "go-to" haven, while the Atlanta home maintains its comfort level. Life is good.
