Paul's Story
After High School, I started in the insurance business down in Orange County as a claims adjuster. I had my fill after a couple of years & moved up to the Central Coast / San Luis Obispo, and worked as a regional sales VP for a successful althletic clothing manufacturer.
At the same time, I was also playing trumpet in a very successful local reggae/ska band called Rock Steady Posse. I eventually quit my job and toured all over California with the band, and designed jewelry on the side.
I've always been drawn to the ocean, and eventually switched gears to make my living on the water. I started my own sailing school & charter company in Morro Bay, and ran it for 6 y...Expand for more
ears, while playing in a new band, Mozaic. This 7 piece afro/latin/funk band went strong for about 5 years, then fell apart.
Soon after marrying my wife, Jessica, I felt the need to produce a more robust income. I got into the insurance business once again, this time as a life insurance / retirement specialist. I live and work in Los Osos (bayside town on the south edge of Morro Bay), am married to an awesome woman, have 2 great kids, have yet a new afro-caribbeanband called Zongo All-Stars - see zongoallstars.com I sail regularly both competitively and for pleasure & have my own boat in a slip right next door to my yacht club.
So far living happily ever after...
