Paul's Story
After High School, one day, I got in a fight with my Dad. He was always at me for one thing or the other. Well, I went to Fairview lounge to get smashed. Do you all remember the Fairview lounge? The USAF recruiting office was upstairs. A recruiter spotted me at the bar and......well I don't know how many guys he recruited from those bar stools, but I was one of them. 75 for basic and ended up at Davis Monthan Air Force Base in Tucson, AZ. I stayed there for 4 years, got married, went to college on GI bill, Fathered two sons and spent over 25 years in Tucson. Divorced in 1997 and moved back to Rockford.
Thats about it, my specialty is CAD design and Construction Management, but with this economy Im beginning to think I should have gone to Med school.
