I was a military child and moved around a lot. My profile begins with Electra High School because I attended 2nd and 3rd grades in Electra, where my grand parents lived at 311 West Glissen, while my father was in Vietnam. We frequently returned here for family reunions and such so I was able to maintain contacts there. My best friend there was Donnie Pearcy; I remember: Joy & Danny Moenning, Mike Lee (his dad was the milkman), Clifford (Ray?), Carla Birch, Cheryl Wilkinson, Mrs. Combest (2nd grade) & Mrs. Bisch (3rd Grade). Laurel Bay Elementary was where I was in 4th thru 6th grades. I lived at 1444 Dove Lane. I remember a few folks from here: Clay...(?) who played the drums across the street from me; Dale Vasco, my best friend; (Linda?...Paula?) my first girlfriend....and YES, I carried her books to school :-); Louis ...(?) whom I knew as 'Junior' back at New River in 1st and 2nd grade where he was my best friend and we watched Johnny Quest together every Saturday morning; Jackie....(?) crazy guy, blonde hair; Miss Kelley, 4th grade; Miss Davis, 5th grade; Mr. Satterfield, gym teacher. From there I went to Wichita Falls, TX when my father returned to Viet Nam, where I finished 6th grade and attended Barwise Jr. High. I don't remember many folks from here....Miss Tabor, my history teacher....I was in love with her :-) Dad came home from Viet Nam and we moved to Millington, TN where I completed 8th grade (Millington East) and moved into High School at Millington Central. Margaret Hawkins, Keith Rochell, Ricky McCollough & Danny Fitzgerald were my best friends; Jimmy Trussel, Brian...(?) were among those with whom I played many a game of basketball in Keith's and Ricky's Back yards. Diane, Mary and Donna were three sisters with whom we congregated in our neighborhood, as well as Marie Weeks. I was in love with Patricia Baumgarner, but I don't think she ever kn...Expand for more
