Paul's Story
Life
In 1988, I rode a mountain bike from Las Cruces to Seattle. I was out of work and unemployed. Took me 3 months to ride there. I made my way off of my boomerang hobby. I went town to town making and selling boomerangs and teaching the locals how to throw and catch them.Came back to Las Cruces, remarried, and moved to Brasillia, Brasil. After a year, Moved back to Cruces for a year and then moved back to Seattle. After 6 1/2 yrs of living in Seattle(for the 2nd time), I moved back to NM. I now live in Albuq. Again!(as of Sept 2000). I'm still a bicycle nut. Also I make boomerangs and play...Expand for more
the musical saw and sing in the occasional opera. I have a son who has majored in electronic engineering at NMT in Socorro. He ran two robotic telescopes looking for near earth asteroids and has discovered two comets.I would love to hear from other Questa High and Las Cruces High alumni.
For the last 3 years('07-'09), my wife and I have lived in an old Airstream Travel Trailer. Just couldn't stand living in Albuquerque. We now live in Cedar Crest. Being in the mountains is worth the commute into Albuq. I'm back in school majoring in Geography and GIS(Geographic Information Systems).
