Paul's Story

My, how times flies!!! I've had to adjust my definition of "old" many times now! Let's see... after graduation I went into the army, then dabbled in college for a long time and finally finished my BSN in '98. I also finished my thesis for my masters in hospice last year (08), and I work in hospice home care. Getting married to Karyn Parker (from Franklin) this summer; she has a 13 year old son. We also have a wiener dog and a little spastic thing we think is a chihuahua. Karyn had gone to NC, then CA, then moved back to Michigan. I still play the drums...Expand for more
, but that was very much on again, off again (more off) over the years. I'm in an old man band, but fortunately I'm the youngest! I'm sure I was a better drummer in high school, but we play for the fun of it and the enjoyment of music. I've also recently started playing again with my old friend Jim Davis (from Garden City), who was the only bass player I knew in high school (he, Brian Martinicky and I were in a band back then). I've run into some folks from school from time to time, even with my work, and it's always nice to see how people are doing now.
