Paul's Story
I retired this year after 36 years with Verizon. It was a great career I had the chance to to travel throughout the US and meet and work with some great people.
My wife Joan and I have three children two of which live in Florida and one lives in Winston Salem NC about 1 1/2 hrs away from us.
We retired to a ranch house in a small NC town called timberlake, it kinda reminds me of Palm harbor small out of the way. We moved to NC 10 yrs ago and I thought at the time I would move back to Fl to retire. However we fell in love with the change of seasons and decided to retire here.

, I have had plenty to keep busy with as I now have a full woodworking shop and put in a vegetable garden every year. Every now and then I also get out to play some golf.
We lived in Timberlake NC till 2010 and then moved to Bluffton SC which is right next to Hilton Head Island SC. Stayed there for 5 years and loved it. My son then had twin girls in Apollo Beach and we decided to head back to Florida. We ended up in a 55 + communitiy called On top of the World in Ocala. Very nice, love it here and great to be back in Fl. Riding my Bicycle with goal of riding Withlacochee trail 46 miles before end of the year.
