Paul Steelman, a native of Atlantic City, NJ, is widely recognized as a visionary designer of entertainment, hospitality and gaming architecture worldwide.
Paul started working as an architect in his father¿s architectural practice. He graduated from Clemson University in 1977 and started his pursuit of an architectural life. His first job involved designing several pieces of the first Atlantic City Casino, Resorts International. Paul then went to work for The City of Atlantic City in the Planning and Development Department. He met all of the famous casino architects and eventually took a job with Steve Wynn.
Paul worked for Steve Wynn for nine years designing many of the Mirage Resorts projects. He later opened his own Architectural Practice in 1987, specializing in entertainment design. Steelman Partners have designed and constructed over 3000 projects throughout the world. Steelman Partners have worked on prestigious projects for MGM, Mirage, SBM Monaco, Sheraton, Hyatt, Foxwoods, Swiss Casinos, Hard Rock, Caesars, Harrahs, Showboat, Silverton, Sun International, Crown, Macau Studio City, Sands, Venetian, Melco, Plaza/ Elad, Waldorf Astoria, SDJM, Asian Coast Resorts, Fontainebleau, Holland Casinos, Tatweer Dubai and many others.
Paul serves on the board of directors for The Lou Ruvo Brain Institute (Las Vegas), The Federal Law Enforcement Foundation (New York) and The Clemson School of architecture (South Carolina)
Paul has been married to Maryann for 28 years. They have 2 children Stephen, 25(a movie actor) and Suzanne, 22(in Architectural Graduate School at SCIARC).

fting exemplary casino/resort designs for an ever-increasing global market, with numerous projects worldwide, including the most successful casino in the world The Sands Macau; the first Las Vegas style casino in the People¿s Republic of China. This project returned 100% of its investment to the owners within 10 months. The Sands Macau was designed and constructed in record time, with a cost around USD $240,000,000. It has retuned to the investor USD $1,400,000,000 in only 42 months.
With its success Steelman Partners has been featured in many reputable magazines such as Forbes May 2006 issue properly named ¿Designing for Dough.¿ Paul was also included in the recent Oceans 13 movie as part of the DVD extras titled the ¿Opulent Illusion,¿ taking an in depth look at casino design.
