Paul Strange:  

Hi Everyone!, My name is Paul Strange. I was born in Blue Island, IL in 1948. After attending High School at Denver West I went into the Army and served in Vietnam for one year. I rose to the rank of Buck Sergeant before finishing my tour. When I came back to the States I started work for IBM. Eventually I left IBM and became a Real Estate Agent. I owned one of the first ReMax offices ever and became the top Salesperson. I developed a lot of properties and was involved in the construction of both Residential and Commercial buildings. In the early 70’s I married my lovely wife Mary, and had my first son, Alan. Towards the end of the 70’s, I went broke and moved my family to Fort Myers, FL. I started my own energy company and expanded it to handle most of the fast food and hotel contracts for the state of Florida and lower Georgia. Me and my wife had our second son, Wes, during this time. I worked with my church and community taking part in many projects including handing out toys for impoverished children during Christmas. I served as a Guardian Ad Litem during my time in Florida serving as a role model for abused children and fighting to better their situations.
