Paul's Story
After grad at Runnymede in 65 we moved to albion and kipling and attended North Albion for two years before joining the Navy in 67. I was posted to the west coast fleet in feb 68 located in victoria b.c, where i have spent most of my life. Married in 1970 to wife joan, we had four kids together, though one died at age two. I have spent 46 years with the military, 34 years active service and another 12 years as a civilian doing the same job ...Expand for more
i had while serving. Over 14 years away from home and other tours like the Olympics in 76 in Montreal as a driver, tour in Somalia in 93 in Mogadishu. and on and off of 8 ships in my career. Spent the last 20 years at CFB Comox where i finally retired in Oct 2013. i have 6 grandkids and still live in Courtenay b.c. on vancouver island. I always wonder about old school mates and how their lives turned out. would like to hear from any of them.
