I lost around 90 lbs. by following the advice of Dr. Jason Fung's YouTube videos but his book "The Obesity Code" presented the science in a more comprehensive way. It's scientific enough that anyone who is a scientist can understand and accept it and it's also general enough to be easily understood by someone who is not a scientist like me. Before discovering intermittent fasting and keto, losing weight was always a struggle. As long as I don't cheat, I can now lose weight at will. you have, fasting will enable you to lose weight. Following keto guidelines when I DO EAT enables me to not gain weight when I am eating between fasts. After arriving at my goal weight, I kept it off using keto guidelines, eating ONE meal a day. Naturally, if I eat more than that, weight may creep back, but the keto diet gives me no feeling of hunger if I follow it correctly. Keto = No sugar, no carbohydrates, saturated fats are OK, as well as vegetables. No bread, no potatoes, no noodles, no rice and no pasta. Bacon & eggs are OK, milk is not, butter and cheese (with less sugar than milk) is OK and avocados are great. CMyFB4mor!
