Paul's Story

Been living in Gaithersburg, MD for 16 years after marrying June Watkins in 1995. I worked for the Navy and Energy Depts in accounting and retired on disabilitiy in 1982 which I don't recommend doing unless you are a millionaire. I worked at the old WP11 for about five years where I occasionally saw Liz Pugh. Been a Toastmaster since 1982. Never had any kids which has always been a very big regret, but June and I have a Shih Tzu named Scruffy, My Dad who died recently was a popular CW singer/songwriter in the Phoenix area for years. Movies are a passion, and I wrote my first screenplay several years ago which can be summed up as "The Wages of Fear" with women. roject is "Treasure Island with Zombies." The last teacher I talked to was Olaf Brockdorf who might still live in Palm Coast, Fl where my mother lived. He was surprised to hear from a former student. The last time I had seen him was years ago at the old Gifforrd's/ My best memory of Blair was making a special appearance on American Bandstand. I was one of 25 teens selected by Felix(not Milt) to go up to Philly and help promote "Gidget" as the DC "Gidgets." The only other kid from Blair was one of the Cashman brothers. Nobody ever bellieves that story because I lost the pictures years ago. I asked Elaine Brannock and Joy Umberger to verify the story, and Elaine's mouth the floor at the 45th reunion. "You were on the Dick Clark show?" Nobody remembers that, I realized, because it was the last day of school and didn't make Silver Chips.
