Paul's Story
After graduation, I went into the Army for three years. I trained in New Jersey and Maryland before going to Germany. I came back to Issaquah in 1988, joined the Army reserves and attended Bellevue Community College for a year. I transfered to Washington State University and graduated in 1992 with a Criminal Justice degree. I met wife wife Carole at WSU and was married in July of 1992. In 1993, I was hired by the Washington State Patrol and was a Trooper for three years. I left the Army Reserves in 1995. In October of 1995, my wife and I had our only child, James. A great kid!...Expand for more
I left the Patrol and moved to Blaine in 1996. I went into the Customs Brokerage business and have been doing it ever since. I am currently the Customs and Logistics Manager for Grizzly Industrial in Bellingham.
I coach baseball and football for the Blaine Youth Sports organization. I also umpire middle school and high school baseball throughout Whatcom County.
I enjoy visiting Pullman as often as I can, and have plans to for another degree when I can afford the time. I go to several football, baseball and basketball games each year, and am a loyal alumni and booster for WSU.
