Paul's Story
Life
I went to Azusa Pacific College after Grossmont High and got two BA's in four years. One in Math w/ a Physics minor and the other in Psychology. I always meant to go on to graduate school, but it just never happened.
I got married right out of college. Tina and I have been married for 29 years now. We have two daughters, ages 27 and 25. My older girl is married, but we have no grand children yet. She is a junior high science teacher and her husband works for Disney Land. My younger daughter works for the Laser Eye Surgery Centers and is in charge of their accounts receivable department. She has been living with her boy friend for four years, but he is allergic to the "m" word. My wife is a licensed minister and is the Director of Women's and Children's ministries at the Los Angeles Mission, (a rescue mission downtown in skid row). She was a radio disk jockey for 10 years and an associate producer for a television show in San Diego for a year. Then she went back to college and got her BA in Psychology.

alified with a BA in Math. I took a machinist job for two years, before opening my own electronics business. I sold my company two years later, (we were in a nice recession and I couldn't make a profit and compete with third world labor rates). I then worked as an electronic tech in San Diego for 10 years. I tried to go back to school twice during this time, but the bills just kept coming and with two children we needed my paycheck. I was laid off in 1990 and didn't have a good job until 1992, when I was hired by the Immigration Service as a federal officer. I spent the next 9 years in that job, but there was too much politics and a lot of bad management. Now, I'm in a business where we sell, install, and repair digital measuring systems for heavy machinery, (lathes, mills, CNC's, etc.). I like it, no politics.
My current hobbies are gold and meteorite prospecting, jewelry making, and reading for pleasure. I got to do a little traveling with the Government and my wife and I have a timeshare on a point system so we can use it all over the world. So far, we've only stayed at places on the west coast and Hawaii.
