Paul's Story
It¿s hard to believe we are close to turning 60 next year¿. Who would have ever thought? I have a couple of things planned next year to celebrate the feat. I decided to celebrate instead of mourning. Think of all the things we have seen and experienced over these 60 years. What a world! For better or worse I felt the joys, sorrows, pain and laughter¿.all have been a free gift to direct me on my journey.
I still live in Mt. Shasta and can¿t imagine living anywhere else. I do make my pilgrimage to the beaches a couple of times a year. Fun for awhile but nothing could ever replace the way it was when we were young. Today there are too many people, stop lights, and fancy cars for my lifestyle. ...Expand for more
Mt. Shasta has three stop lights and a fancy car is a 4 wheel drive with dirty windows. People say hello to each other on the sidewalks, and in the market¿¿¿
Today I¿m single after many years of marriage. I love living alone, and have been forced to get acquainted with me¿¿..hard at first but I¿m now able to tolerate some of my glaring defects¿..I have two fabulous sons, and two beautiful, funny and spoiled granddaughters(Spoiled when I¿m around). For fun I cycle, golf and do a little hiking. I teach a couple of spin classes, and I¿m the volunteer girls and boys golf coach at the local high school. So, my life is busy, full, and I¿ve decided I wouldn¿t change a minute of my it¿¿¿.
